Justin earned a Master of Science in Adult Education and Human Services from the University of Wisconsin, Platteville as well as a Master of Science in Community Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater. He is licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Professional Counselor and Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor. Justin works primarily with adults, and his clinical experience has included providing individual, group, and couples counseling to treat anxiety, depression, relationship strain, substance use disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. Justin facilitates therapy sessions using an eclectic approach, which has its roots established in Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Choice Theory, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Therapy, and Mindfulness. His treatment philosophy is one that increases hope, encourages personal responsibility and self-advocacy, empowers through education, and provides support throughout the therapy process.
